A common myth regarding Firefighter’s, is that all Firefighters are great cooks. As you may already know, this is not always the case. It is not a requirement to be a master in the kitchen, just very much appreciated. It is important that every Firefighter has at least 5 very different “go to” good meals that they can prepare with confidence. To assist you with this, we have created this page, which will be continually updated with new recipes that are tried and true. The ease of preparation will vary, but most will not require any true culinary skill, just basic aptitude. If you try a recipe, please provide feedback in the comments section. If you wish to submit a recipe yourself, you may do so, however, I will not post recipes until I or one of this pages contributors personally tries them. Enjoy this section and watch it grow in the months and years to come.
