Cancellation Policy
Annual memberships are billed one time at a rate of $60.00. This one time fee activates an account for a full year. As a reminder your expiration date appears next to your name when you log in. No other reminder notices are sent prior to the expiration of your account. Once your account expires, if you wish to re-activate your account, simply go to the subscribe page and follow the instructions under, "I have previously subscribed to Firerecruit.com", to re-activate your membership. Monthly memberships authorize a $7.20 charge to your credit card. This charge is recurring every month until you contact us to cancel. The date you will be billed appears under your name when you log on. If your billing date is on the 31st you will be billed on the last day of each month. Once you decide to end your service simply e-mail us a request to cancel service, or call us toll free at (800)997-3373. Be sure to receive a confirmation e-mail stating that we have received and processed your request and keep that for your records, or if you leave a voice mail message we will return your call to confirm that we have received your request. We highly recommend, for your record keeping purposes and ours, that you cancel via e-mail. Once you request to cancel, no further charges will be accrued and your account will be allowed to expire at the end of your last billing cycle. For example if your charge date is Jan 31, 2003 and you request to cancel on Jan 15, 2003. You will receive no further charges and will have service through Jan 31, 2003. Please NOTE: We will NOT issue a credit back for charges that have already been made prior to a cancellation request, but you will always receive full service time for any monthly charges. It is important for you to note the billing date and cancel service accordingly. The cancellation request will be honored on the date that it is received, not the date that it is confirmed, because given weekends, holidays, etc., it may take a few days to confirm your request, so be assured that all requests will be honored as soon as they are received. In the event that a request can not be confirmed and processed immediately and your card is charged after the date your request was sent, then a credit will be issued for the full amount.
