Wheeled Coach Industries, Inc. has launched SafePASS (Patient Access Safety System), an interior and exterior safety system for patients and crew.
SafePASS, according to the company, provides improved ergonomics and protection with:
Free-floating, extra-wide and deep door handles for firm grips even with heavy gloves.
A stronger, more durable locking mechanism that helps eliminate wear and tear normally caused by trying to open a locked door.
Emergency "direct release" door tabs that allow doors to be opened in the event an accident has bent the door lock control rod.
"We take pride at Wheeled Coach of always being out in front of the industry, especially when it relates to the well-being of crews who put their trust in us," said Scott Barnes, vice president of marketing and sales. "SafePASS continues this mission by providing a safer locking system on all our modular ambulances."
Wheeled Coach, a leading manufacturer of ambulances, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Collins Industries, Inc. For information, go to www.wheeledcoach.com.
